Lubricant compatibility, in plain language
The one rule that matters: silicone-based lubricant can damage silicone toys. Everything else is preference. Here is the whole chart.
| Lubricant | With silicone toys | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Water-based | Safe with every toy material, including silicone | Dries sooner; a drop of water reactivates it |
| Silicone-based | Not for silicone toys — it can degrade the surface | Long-lasting; best with glass, metal and ABS |
| Hybrid (water + silicone) | Check the maker's note on each product page | A middle path: longer glide than water alone |
Care, briefly
Wash toys before and after each use with warm water and mild, fragrance-free soap or a compatible toy cleaner; rinse well, dry with a lint-free cloth and let them air-dry completely before storing. Every product page states its own material compatibility and care, in English and Spanish.
